Suspicious Britons regularly spy on friends and lovers - with more than 50% admitting to reading a partner's text messages without their knowledge, research published today reveals.

But would you know if your partner was cheating on you?

Here are our top 10 tell tell signs which could point to a problem in your relationship:

1 - They no longer want sex or make excuses.

2 - They won't allow you access to their computer.

3 - They suddenly have to work late and have to be away from home for long periods of time.

5 - They start receiving mysterious phone calls or hurry away to answer the phone.

6 - You aren't allowed to use their phone or have any access to it

7 - They arrive home smelling of perfume/aftershave.

8 - You find strange phone numbers or receipts that they cannot account for.

10 - They get dressed up for weekly chores like shopping and spend hours away from home.
