Questions about sex, relationships, happiness and dating were put to 500 women in a poll organised by No 1 magazine and the Daily Record. It threw up some surprising results. Women in both the 25-34 age group - 35 per cent - and the 35-44 age group - 33 per cent - admit to infidelity at least once. When asked to explain reasons, many blame boredom, feeling unappreciated, inability to resist temptation and drunken mistakes. The majority of unfaithful women don't own up but some admit it to their partners because of guilt and shame.
